Hello there, I'm Clarissa!
And yes, I specifically wrote that to make all you fellow Star Wars fans chuckle :) I'm so glad you're here and that we get to meet each other!
I'm a taco loving, adventure seeking gal with a camera and some big dreams! Life is too short to be wasted on doing stuff you don't like or for only the sake of tradition. So after having a big wedding myself and feeling the most STRESSED OUT I have ever been in my life, I escaped to where I felt most at peace - surrounded by nature.
At first it was just me and my camera making beautiful landscape images. But sharing these epic places with folks (like you!) who love the outdoors as much as I do was so stinkin' fun! Creating meaningful wedding days where you two can feel a deep connection to each other and nature, and really take in the sacred commitment you're making has become my passion. And of course have a ton of fun along the way!

Travis & I met in college physics class - sparks were literally flying! Since then we've settled in Southern California and have beach days scheduled into our calendar months in advance. We love exploring both our local area, our second 'home' in Lake Tahoe, and traveling the globe. Our love for the outdoors started at an early age as we both grew up in families that hiked, camped, and explored outdoors a lot. You could say we both fell in love with nature first, and each other second.
As a photographer, I'm extremely blessed to share my love of nature with all my couples because that's where you'll find us naturally and where we feel closest to God. I am constantly in awe of this beautiful world and the One who made it all. So whether it's boogie boarding, hot air ballooning, or hiking - I can't wait to get amongst it with you.
